Jasmine

Perhaps one of the earlier entries in the "modern classic" cocktail territory, the Jasmine has been a favourite for years. Created by bartender Paul Harrington in the early 90's, the original drink draws its inspiration from the Pegu Club Cocktail, and effectively delivers refreshing, bitter notes of grapefruit despite the fact the fruit plays no part in the list of ingredients. In our take on the cocktail, we've swapped out Orange Curacao for seville orange marmalade, and have reached for non-alcoholic alternatives to the traditional spirit/bitter base, including Novara Bitter Aperitivo. Enzoni

Originally created by bartender Vincenzo Errico in 2003 at New York City cocktail bar Milk & Honey, the Enzoni is a refreshing cross between a Negroni and Sour, with the addition of red grapes for an added touch of sweetness and fruit.  Ingredients 30mL Novara Bitter Aperitivo 30mL Non-Alcoholic Gin 20mL Fresh Lemon Juice 30mL Simple Syrup 5ea Red grapes, plus 3 for garnish Preparation Instructions Add grapes to bottom of a cocktail shaker, and muddle vigorously.  Add all remaining ingredients to shaker, and fill with ice.  Cap shaker and shake vigorously. Double-strain into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Garnish with an orange zest and 3 grapes, skewered on a cocktail pick. Rest pick on rim of glass.

Novara & Tonic

Sometimes when mixing, keeping things simple can often be the best approach. Case in point: this simple, delicious mix of Novara and Tonic is a refreshingly bitter sipper perfectly suited to quenching your thirst. Ingredients 45mL Novara Bitter Aperitivo 90mL Premium Tonic Water Preparation Instructions Build all ingredients in an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Using a bar spoon, stir gently to mix ingredients thoroughly. Garnish with a lime wedge.
